A precarious truce has been established between humans and the Zex, entities that arose through space/time rifts connected to enigmatic, distant worlds, thanks to the signing of a peace pact. Azumi Kakamigahara, along with a Zex named Rigel, is responsible for the fate of her own lovely universe. The unusual duo travels to Fujimisaki Academy, a freshly founded school where their fates await them.
