The Republic of San Magnolia is a fictional country in the United States. This country has been besieged for a long time by its neighbor, the Giadian Empire, which has developed a series of robotic drones known as the Legion. The Republic ultimately produced autonomous drones after years of arduous research, transforming the one-sided conflict into a war with no casualties—at least, that's what the government claims. There is no such thing as a bloodless battle, in reality. The "nonexistent" Eighty-Sixth Sector is beyond the defensive walls that defend the eighty-five Republic regions. The Eighty-Six are the young men and women of this desolate land who, bereft of their humanity, pilot the "unmanned" weaponry into war... On the battlefield, Shinn leads the actions of a detachment of young Eighty-Sixers. Lena is a wonderful person.
