A herbivorous dinosaur discovers a misplaced egg and returns it to her nest by chance. However, as the egg hatches, a predatory dinosaur appears. She can't abandon the child, so she calls him "Heart" and raises him with her own child in exile. Heart strives to consume the same food as his family as he grows older, and when he realizes he can't live without meat, he flees in shame.
