While performing in the club Shinjuku Loft two weeks before a concert at Yaon Hibiya theater (1987.8.26), lead vocalist To-Y (pron: to-o-i) of the band GASP is jumped by a competitor, Aikawa Yoji. GASP is a violent emerging band that is fighting to break through against the fame of hotshot Aikawa, who is number one on the charts and adored by his followers. The Yaon Hibiya concert marks GASP's mainstream debut, allowing them to break out of the small-time club scene, which is threatened by Aikawa's manager, Ms. Kato of Koyama Productions' machinations. Kato urges To-Y to quit the "bunch of hoodlums" and sing for a major label on his own.
