Strike the Blood is an anime series based on Gakuto Mikumo's light novel series of the same name, with drawings by Manyako. The fourth OVA series premiered on April 8, 2020, and ended on June 30, 2021.[1] The opening theme song was sung by Kishida Kydan & The Akeboshi Rockets, while the concluding theme song was performed by Taneda.[2] The crew from the third OVA series returned to reprise their roles. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was stated on May 15, 2020 that volume 2 will be pushed back from June 24 to July 29.
