Nobita Nobi desires to visit his late grandma again after remembering about her, and begs Doraemon to transport them back in time. Following their happy reunion, Nobita's grandma expresses her desire to meet his future fiancée. Nobita accepts her request out of filial piety and rushes inside the time machine with Doraemon to travel across time. When the duo warps to Nobita's wedding day, however, they realize that the future Nobita is not present! Doraemon and Nobita, determined to put things right, go on a quest to find Nobita's future self and urge him to find the happiness he deserves.
