It's difficult to determine which individuals are wandering about with cybernetic body parts in a future-based disaster-ridden metropolis with a huge divide between the affluent and the poor. This complicates Roy Revant's employment as a renegade bounty hunter/bodyguard-for-hire. When a little girl with incredible power saves Roy from a particularly deadly criminal, Roy finds that aid may be found in the most unexpected places. Together with a few others, they fight to uncover the reality behind the massive companies that claim to be helping humanity and improving people's lives.
