Suzu is a meek, ordinary high school girl from a small community. She's been a shadow of herself for years. But when she joins "U," a large virtual world, she transforms into Belle, a stunning and universally adored singer. Her recital is interrupted one day by a horrific monster being pursued by vigilantes. Suzu goes on an emotional and epic adventure to learn the identity of this mystery "beast" and her actual self in a world where anybody may be anyone.
