Under the tutelage of their adored royal tutor, the skilled yet infantile Heine Wittgenstein, the four princes of Grannzreich—Kai, Bruno, Leonhard, and Licht—continue to vie for the right to their kingdom's crown. The monarch of the neighboring Romano Kingdom arrives to the royal palace with his twin sons, Ivan and Eugene, one day during a political visit to Grannzreich. Heine and the four princes greet their guests in the hopes of befriending the twins, but their efforts are stymied immediately when the two twin princes announce that they will not address individuals who will never get to the kingdom. Heine dispels the boys' nervousness by revealing that, at the request of their father, King Victor von Grannzreich, he will be training the Romano princes alongside the boys.
