Komugi-chan and her opponents will be shown in the new "slapstick" narrative as they manage their everyday lives as students, idols, and magical girls "with laughter and tears." Komugi Yoshida is a slightly clumsy second-year middle-school girl whose strength is her zeal. She acts as an idol, similar to Kokona Saionji (a classmate and close friend) and Tsubasa Kisaragi (an idol who dresses in male clothing). However, unlike Kokona, whose fame is exploding, and Tsubasa, who is known for her charm in male dress, Komugi's sole engagements are low-key, such as those at the local retail center. Komugi maintains her "dream" while juggling her two life as an idol and a middle school kid.
