0096 in the Universal Century. The event with Laplace's box, commonly known as the Universal Century Charter, occurred some months ago. The Earth Federation Forces sends a team of investigators to the severed Axis that is floating outside the Earth Sphere. Arlette Almage and Danton Hyleg are two citizens who are members of the study team. Both have served in the administration of the Principality of Zeon and Neo Zeon as engineers and test pilots. After infiltrating Axis, the investigators are ambushed inside a base where no one should be. Arlette and Dalton are met with an unexpected situation.
