Youtarou Misaki is saved from drowning in the water by a guy named Arashi Mutou one tragic day. Arashi awakens Youtarou up and asks for his name after bringing him to dry land. Youtarou's memories return fast, but instead of telling Arashi his identity, he chooses to lie and pretend to be unaware of his background. Arashi cares for Youtarou and allows him to remain at his cafe, Kurage no Shokudou, for the time being. Despite his friendliness, Youtarou maintains that he has no memory of how he got there drifting across the sea. How will the imposter's life proceed now that he has abandoned his family and home?
