During the summer vacation, Gash and his friends plan to go to Fuji Mountain for a picnic. There, they come upon a girl holding a white magical book. Her name is Kotoha, and her book has a message stating that Gash's mother may be found in a woodland cave. However, when they arrived in the cave, there was already a blond-haired adolescent named Wiseman. In order to save Wiseman, Gash and the others venture into the cave's depths, where they come across the opening to another realm. Soon after, the most powerful warrior, the Black Knight, arrived in front of them. The Black Knight began to assault them, believing Gash was the one who stole the 101st magical book. Kiyomaro and Gash have to find the real criminal in exactly 24 hours, or else they will be stuck in the alternative world forever.
