It's been just the two of them for a long time. "Kanojo" and her cat Daru have grown up together and are inseparable. Tomoka, Kanojo's roommate of a year and a half, moves out of their shared flat, and in order to preserve her living space, Kanojo must find work. Daru observes her ongoing efforts from a cat's-eye perspective, impatiently anticipating his owner's return. When she returns, it'll be just her and her cat.
