This is the narrative of Kanna, a 12-year-old girl who was born as a God's descendant. Her family is on a quest to bring offerings from all around Japan to the meeting of the Gods in Izumo. Although Kanna's mother was supposed to finish the mission, her mother's death inspired Kanna to accomplish it, hoping to reconnect with her deceased mother in the Gods' country at the conclusion of her voyage.
