The enigmatic "Big Gete Star" clings to the planet New Namek in order to suck its energy, placing all Namekians in great risk. Dende, Earth's new guardian, hears of the predicament in his world and immediately seeks the assistance of Gokuu Son and his comrades. When they arrive in New Namek, they learn that the Namekians are being kept hostage by strong robots led by Cooler. He reveals that the Big Gete Star's sophisticated technology spared him from what would have been certain death. Cooler, accompanied by his mechanical army, goes to assault Gokuu and his pals in order to eliminate them once and for all.
