Years after the conclusion of Dragonball GT, the narrative continues in this special with Son Goku's now-elderly granddaughter Pan and a new generation of super saiyajins, Goku and Vegeta's great-great-grandsons. All of Earth's heroes have died 100 years after the end of DBGT...except for Pan, Son Goku's granddaughter. Goku Jr., Pan's grandson, was born. He, however, lacks the boldness of his great-great-grandfather. Pan has a heart attack, and Goku Jr. believes he can rescue her with the strength of the four-star Dragon Ball. He searches for the ball with the help of the school bully...and discovers his latent bravery and power.
