Battle for Terra, based on the short film Terra, is a 2007 American 3D computer animated action-adventure science fiction film about a species of beings on a peaceful foreign world who are threatened by colonization by the displaced remainder of the human race. Aristomenis Tsirbas directed the picture, which he envisioned as a hard-edged live action film with photo-real Computer-Generated Imagery (CGI) surroundings. The concept was diverted to become completely animated and appeal to younger viewers thanks to tight work with producing partner and financier Snoot Entertainment. Evan Rachel Wood, Luke Wilson, Brian Cox, and James Garner (in his final significant film role before his death) are among the cast members.
